Appointed as a member of the Promotion Committee for the “Overseas Halal and Livestock Technology Research and Promotion Project

We are pleased to announce that our Director, Junji Nakao, has been appointed as a member of the Promotion Committee for the “Overseas Halal and Slaughter Technology Research and Promotion Project” (implemented from FY2024 to FY2026) conducted by the Meat Production Technology Development Center of Japan.

In addition, on the occasion of the first meeting of the committee, a lecture on the Halal system, etc. was given to committee members and officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW).

【Contents of the performance】

This project aims to contribute to the expansion of exports of Halal Wagyu beef to Islamic countries, where demand is expected to grow as a new beef export market, in order to contribute to the expansion of exports of Japanese food products being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan.
